For the first time in 20 years Supercross came back to Tampa,Florida at Raymond James Stadium.
The two Wheel excitement was at it’s peak with anyone having a chance at the podium. The one of the first Stop on the East coast for the 250cc class and a brand new track for the 450cc class.
After missing out of qualifying for the main in the first two heats local Chad Reed dominated in the last chance qualifier, meaning he would break Mike LaRocco streak of race starts.
In the 250cc class the Battle was intense between a handful of great riders which included local favorite RJ Hampshire on the Geico Honda.
Austin Forkner took his first win.
points leader Zach Osbourne finish on the podium in third.
And in the 450cc class it was game on and whoever got the holeshot had a chance.
Blake Baggett and Marvin Musquin battle to the front in the beginning laps till an unfortunate off in the corner by Baggett .
With Eli Tomac working his way past Musquin took the win.
